Student Success Statement
“Even if everyone is doing it, WRONG IS NEVER RIGHT.”
Russell M. Nelson
Reflection:

What Mr.Nelson is trying to teach us is that we should not do things we know are wrong just because everyone else is doing them. When you truly know something is wrong don’t follow the crowd, stand up for what you know is right no matter if everyone else is against you. By doing this not only will you receive appraise from others but you will feel pleased with yourself and your actions. An example would be if everyone else is cheating on a test, don’t cheat no matter how much you want to score well. Another example would be if your friends are smoking and they try to persuade you into doing the drug aswell, refus because you were taught better and know the repercussions smoking can cause to your body. Lastly an example would be if all your friends are stealing things from a store, do not go along with because if they get caught the bad reputation will not only be on them but you as well because you are around them so you’re seen as an accomplice. Nothing you do wrong will ever feel honest. When you do things you know are wrong you feel guilt that you have to live with until you confess to what you do. Living with guilt can feel like you are carrying a ton of weights on your shoulder. To avoid all the guilt and repercussions you can just stick to CTR. Save yourself all the trouble and avoid completing wrong actions. By doing this you are making yourself a better person that people can look up to in the future.
