Health Educator
Duties and Responsibilities:
The health educator teaches people how to stay healthy and make sure they are fit. They make programs on how to stay healthy and inform us on what we need to eat to make sure we are getting enough nutrients. Health educators work in public places to make sure the public is informed on how to stay healthy and get healthy. Other things the health educator is responsible for is collecting data about their health programs and state changes that need to be made in our communities to keep us healthy.
Salary:
Hospital-$61,300
Local government-$49,700
Local Health educators-$50,400
Education:
The first step into becoming a health educator is graduating college with a bachelor’s degree at minimum. The second step is get certified by  Certified Health Education Specialists. After that some health education jobs require you to have experience at a health education area.
Need for this profession:
The need for this profession is very high. It is very high because our country needs people to inform us what is right for our health. We also need people to gives us tips on how to get fit and stay fit.
Summary:
The health educator is not a profession I would like to purse. I would not like to pursue this profession because I am not a huge fan in fitness. Yes I do like working out sometimes but to do that for the rest of my life in not something I would enjoy doing.
