Student Success Statement
“If it is not right, do not do it; if it is not true, do not say it.”
Marcus Aurelius
Reflection:
This statement is telling us to not cause bad things to happen if they are bad. For example if your friend told you to tell the teacher that one of your peer cheated on the test but you know it is a lie then do not say it. Another example is you wanting to really get something from the store but can’t buy it and your mind is telling you to steal it then do not do it because you know that stealing is wrong. Also an example would be you wanting to say that your sibling hit you so they can get in trouble, do not say it because you know that it is not true. Lastly an example would be wanting to break something and blame someone else, you should not do it because you know the person is innocent so it would be wrong. This quote is a way of leading yourself to be a good person and choosing the right decisions. On the other hand if you are a CTR person then you do not have to worry about making the right decisions. In the end you should know your right from wrong and be able to choose the right no matter how much temptation wants you to do the wrong thing. When you know your action is bad then you should not do it because every bad action you do leads to a repercussion. Striving to always CTR is  a good way to lead a great life.
