Reflection:

Toward me this quote means that  you are a true champion when you CTR and win doing things the fair way. For example, the NBA basketball winners are considered champions but right after they win they celebrate by getting drunk and Choosing The Wrong. On the other hand a CTR person will chose the right while celebrating and know better to not do anything bad. When you are a CTR champion you do not celebrate winning but you do celebrate yourself choosing the right. When you win a championship unfairly you will feel guilty and do not deserve to win while others played by the rules. If you are participating and do not win but played fairly then you are a winner anyway because you CTR. No matter how much you want to win you should not resort to cheating because even though you may win you know deep down that you did not deserve it.
