Student Success Statement
“Dare to stand alone.”
Thomas S. Monson

Reflection:
This is the best piece of advice anyone can ever give. What Mr.Monson means by this is that in any given situation the best place to be is where you are doing what’s right. No matter what circumstances, such as being alone. It does not matter if you are alone because you will be doing the right thing and will not have a good conscience. When you stick to doing what’s right you will have a peaceful life and not suffer from any repercussions. When you choose to stand alone you are creating a good image for yourself. It does not matter if no one is watching because you know you did the right thing. An example of this statement is if you choose to leave your friends when you see them doing drugs. Another example of this statement is if you stand up for someone when everyone one else is bullying them instead. The best thing to do in any situation is the right thing.

Student Success Statement
“You can’t be right by doing wrong; you can’t be wrong by doing right.”
Thomas S. Monson
Reflection:

What Mr.Monson means by this statement is that you can’t go wrong with choosing the right. On the other hand when you choose the wrong it is never right. An example of choosing the right is if you are in school and you see people cheating on tests, it is never wrong if you report it to the teacher. Also an example would be if you see a piece of trash on the floor, it is not wrong to stop what you’re doing and pick it up. Another example would be if you see someone struggling with anything, it is not wrong to offer help no matter if you get turned down. On the other hand an example of choosing the wrong is you deciding to look at the piece of trash and just walking past it. Also an example of choosing the wrong would be seeing people cheat on tests and not do anything about it. Lastly an example of doing the wrong is watching people struggle and not doing anything to help the when you can. When you  Choose The Wrong no positive outcomes will happen, only repercussions. However when Choose The Right you will receive praise and opportunities. There is never a wrong time to do the right. Doing the wrong is never a right thing to do.

"If your so-called friends urge you to do anything you know to be wrong, you be the one to make a stand for right, even if you stand alone have the moral courage to be a light for others to                                                                  follow."

Reflection:
This quote means that if you friends are telling you to do things that are wrong do not agree with them. Instead you should Choose The Right and be a person they can look up to. An examle of this is that if your friends are somink and drinking and offer you some just reject it and remind them the reprecussions that can happen. Another example is that if your friends tell you to help them steal something go against them and tell them that it is wrong. If you Choose The Right and go against them not only are you being a good example for them but you are starting a pattern that will remind you to Choose The Right no matter what decisions you have to make. As my mom says "A true friend will never want any harm to come to you". If you friends tell you to CTW tell them no and if you can decide to leave them and find better friends that do not want you to get in trouble. No matter how many people decide to CTW do not agree with them because if you do you will ave trouble that you could have avoided. By choosing the right you will be know as responsible and will gain trust to do as you want. Choosing the right will always lead you to opportunities and you will never recieve any trouble.

Reflection: The quote that Thomas S. Monson  means that being obidence is the hardest thing that everyone faces every day. Even though sometimes we dont recognize that we are being obident we do it to obey our partents. Since the minute you wake up you face the test of being obidence. Sometimes obidence can be harder that anything in your life. The hardest decsions to make are the rigfht ones is a quote I once read.

       "Decisions Determine Destiny"
Reflection: In my opinion this quote means that what you have done or will do in the past, present, and future will determine what you go through in your life. For example if you get bad grades in middle school and don't try then your destiny will be not culminating. Also an example I can relate is that in middle school I got good grades and was a good student then my destiny is getting rewarded and being know as a good student. This quote is true for everyone because you can't control your destiny but you can control your decisions. Furthermore if you pick bad decisions then you will get a negative destiny. Also if you pick beneficial decisions then you will get a great destiny. As Mr. Haymore states you should always Choose the Right. In addition if you are a CTR person then you destiny will be what your deserve it to be. When Thomas S. Monson wrote this quote he was right in what he saying. Lastly your decisions reflect on the kind of person you are.
