Reflection:
After researching Columbus Day I learned some very important and interesting information. For example all of America didn’t celebrate Columbus day until the 400th anniversary of Columbus landing in America. I think this is unfair to him because he was sent out on a journey that could’ve ended his life and discovered what we know call our home, America. In addition I learned that Christopher Columbus traveled many more expeditions before he finally traveled to America. I also learned that Columbus day is celebrated on the 2nd Monday in October. Lastly, I learned that Christopher columbus was originally born in 1451 in Italy.
