Reflection:
What Mr.Glasgow means by this quote is that you can’t do anything without having a goal in mind. Even though you have a route you can’t travel without having a destination. If you do not have goals you will not go far in life. On the other hand if you do have goals you will reach and exceed your goals because you have a destination as to where to travel. This quote has encouraged me to work hard for my goals. Once I have reached my goals I will create new goals to take myself farther. An example of this quote is football players, they can run around the field all day and not achieve anything because they do not have goals. ANother example is if you go to school and not have an idea as to what you want to be in life you will not reach your potential. When you have a goal you should do everything possible to achieve it because if you don’t you will have a life full of regrets. Goals are like plans for our future. A goal can lead you to where you want to go. Without goals you will not know where to stop or even where to begin. The only way to achieve success is achieving your goals. No matter how silly or how ridiculous your goal is that should not stop you from achieving it either way. You should not restrict yourself or your goals because that only means you are restricting yourself from success.

Reflection:
This quote means that if you set a goal you should go for it and not let no one stop you from getting it. It is telling us to reach what we have set for ourselves. An example of this is that if I say my goal is graduate high school then I need to work for it and achieve it. Another example is if I say I will finish all my homework for my classes then I need to accomplish it because I set myself to do it. This quote can also mean that what you set for yourself is what you will achieve. In other words if you set it do it. A goal is a dream and a dream is something you will accomplish no matter how hard it gets or what you need to do to accomplish it. After all you can not receive something great without working hard for it. So if you need to work hard for your goal then do it because it will be worth it in the end. A goal is important because it is a wish you want to accomlish and without out a goal you will have no direction to accomplish it.
