Student Success Statement
“ Only those live who do good.”
Count Leo Tolstoy
Reflection:
Even though all human beings live those who are truly living and enjoying life are people who are choosing to do the right. When you create and take part in bad actions then you are not truly living because you are being tied down by guilt. On the other hand those who go through with good actions are truly living because they are free to go and do as they please. By doing wrong you do not live because you can not truly experience freedom. However by choosing the right you do truly receive freedom because you can go anywhere you please and not be worried about getting caught or in trouble. For example if you do not complete your homework you are not truly living because now you have to stay after school to finish it when you can be doing other things. Also if you choose to behave bad during class you are not truly living because you will receive detention and give up your time. On the other hand an example of truly living is completing your chores because now you have free time to do as you please. Another example of truly living is finishing your homework because now you can go out with your friends. Even though these are small examples of truly living there are greater examples in life. For instance if you commit a crime you will find yourself in jail for a part of your life whereas you can be outside truly living. When you choose the right not only will you be truly living but you will be receiving great opportunities and outcomes.
