Duties and Responsibilities:
The Ear Nose throat doctor or (ENT) specializes in treatments that to the ear, nose, and throat. They also are in charge in finding any disease in the ear, nose, and throat. The ENT also can work on the head and neck. When you go to an ENT they will help you with any disorders in those areas.

Education:
The first step into becoming an ENT is going through medical school for 4 years. Some requirement are scoring high on the MCAT and to earn a high undergraduate GPA. Then you need to volunteer at a clinic to have experience. After that you need to complete a 3-5 year residency. The last step in getting certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Demand for this profession:
The demand for the ENT is actually pretty high. For example, according to the internet %50 of visits to the physician visits are ENT problems. This means that a lot of people are having problems in these areas and need an ENT to help them keep better. That is why the demand is high.
Reflection:
After researching the ENT I think it is a job that I would be interested in. I feel that it would be interesting to see the different problems that you can have with the ear, nose, and throat. Even though it would be a hassle to complete the education it will be worth it.
